Win tickets to the Friendships album launch at Oxford Art Factory
By Sam Eacott
Melbourne’s chaotic audio/visual two piece friendships are celebrating the release of their Debut LP ‘Nullarbor 1988-1989’ with an album launch at Oxford Art Factory this Friday!
The album includes past releases such as ‘When I Feel Like Killing, I Murder’, ‘Pedal To The Metal’ and ‘The Roof’, which details the near-death experience which almost put a fatal end to the act during their CMJ Showcase Tour in New York last year.
Presented by Paradise and Volumes 2016, friendships will be supported by some of Heaps Gay favourite acts including Melbourne’s soul distorting electro-punks HABITS and industrial RnB innovator Marcus Whale, as well as Sydney locals Phondupe and LOW TON. Melbourne-based experimental electronic artist Null will also be launching his latest EP ‘Archived Works Vol. 1’, which is out now via Siberia Records.
To go in the draw to win a double pass simply send an email to contact@volumes2016.com with ‘friendships giveaway’ in the subject description!
