Jordan from the Axis of Awesome came out as trans in the most awesome way

Back when I was in year six, my drama class put on the play Oliver. I badly wanted the lead role, and in the end it came down to me and another kid. I was eventually awarded the much cooler role of the Artful Dodger, and a kid named Jordan Raskopolous scored the part of Oliver.
Since then, Jordan has gone on to do some awesome work with her comedy group The Axis of Awesome, as well as very almost scoring herself a Logie award by gaming the voting system.
And now, Raskoplous has come out as a trans woman in a brilliant video titled “What’s Happened to Jordan’s Beard?”
As well as being characteristically funny, the Aussie performer’s video is also incredibly touching, articulately describing the personal journey of transitioning and describing brilliantly how coming out as trans should not effect anything other than your happiness.
“I’m going to continue doing exactly what I was doing before, and I’m going to be fucking awesome,” she says.
