50 Dead As Gay Bar Terrorised In Florida

A gay nightclub was terrorised in Florida overnight, reportedly leaving 50 dead and making it one of the biggest mass-shooting in US history.

While many of us were out celebrating the Queen’s Birthday long weekend, a 30-year-old man named Omar Mir Seddique Mateen led a three hour siege on party-goers at Pulse nightclub in Orlando.

“We have cleared the building, and it is with great sadness that I share we have not 20, but 50 casualties in addition to the shooter,” Mayor Buddy Dyer told a mid-morning press briefing in Orlando, adding significantly to the initial reported figure.

Mateen’s parents have said he’d previously expressed outrage after seeing two men kiss in Miami, but they didn’t consider him particularly religious and didn’t know of any connection he had to ISIS – despite early media speculation.

“At first it sounded like it was part of the show because there was an event going on and we were all having a good time,” witness Andy Moss told CNN.

“But once people started screaming and shots just keep ringing out, you know that it’s not a show anymore.”

“We know enough to say this was an act of terror and act of hate,” President Obama said in an address to the nation from the White House.”This is an especially heartbreaking day for our friends who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender,” he said.

While hundreds of Florida locals lines up to donate blood this morning to help those wounded, Donald Trump has already taken the shooting as an opportunity to push his anti-Muslim agenda. “Because our leaders are weak, I said this was going to happen – and it is only going to get worse,” he said.

“I am trying to save lives and prevent the next terrorist attack. We can’t afford to be politically correct anymore.”
