Heaps Gay went to the Red Rattler Theatre for Howlers’ first event hosted by the Sydney all-women art and music organisation Coven Presents. The night celebrated local female created music from SCABZ, Billie Rose, Imperial Broads and Catlyf (DJ set), alongside art installations and performances from Sydney artists Mikaela Stafford and Zsa Zsa La Fine.

With sponsors Sailor Jerry on flow, Howlers turned it on for their successful first night with hopefully more to come. All the proceeds went to Hey Sis, a branch of the Full Stop Foundation supporting Indigenous women affected by domestic violence.

Howlers is about creating a supportive, inclusive community of women and gender diverse, musicians and creative. Make sure to follow what Coven Presents next.
